Elizabeth Westcott is a contemporary artist based in Monmouthshire, South Wales. She studied Art at Cheltenham College, and now works from her studio, at home, under the Brecon Beacons’ mountains. The beautiful fields and flowers in the landscape around her, provide rich subjects for Elizabeth’s canvases, which she paints in an impressionist, impasto style. She uses a variety of mixed media, including acrylic paint, solvent-based inks, and gold leaf. Elizabeth is influenced by popular artists such as Kurt Jackson, Sally Stafford, and Marie Mills. Her regular trips to Devon also influence her works, and sometimes her paintings have a coastal theme. She exhibits regularly at galleries throughout England and Wales.
